WELCOME TO BIG LOVE
AT PARTRIDGE MINI.

Last year, Partridge of Hampshire set a fundraising goal of £10,000 for our five chosen charities: Ronald McDonald House Southampton, Naomi House & Jacksplace, MPS Society, Samaritans, and HAE UK.

Our fundraising initiatives began with Big Love Month in June, where MINI retailers nationwide contributed to their local communities. The Partridge MINI team hosted a staff Bake Off challenge and a Family Fun Day. However, we realized we needed to think bigger to raise as much as possible for these wonderful charities.

We decided to virtually cycle the 930 miles from Partridge MINI to Munich. More staff than expected were eager to participate, so we included a detour to MINI Plant Oxford.

How did it go?

Our incredible team of volunteers not only took on but also exceeded the challenge. Toby and Lukas set the pace on the first day, each cycling 21 miles. We covered a remarkable 230 miles on day one, reaching MINI Oxford and crossing the channel to Calais.

Day two took us along the French coast and through Belgium. James Fields set a record by covering 25 miles within an hour, and Paul Veal cycled for two consecutive hours. On Wednesday, we reached Germany, with Nick Oliver setting a final-hour record of 26.6 miles.

We reached Munich on Thursday morning, completing the challenge. However, everyone was determined to make it back to Partridge in 1.5 days. We dug deep and covered the final 610 miles. James set a new record, covering 30 miles within an hour.

By Friday, we could see the finish line. Spirits remained high throughout the final few hours, culminating in a triumphant finish with Matt and Esther.

In total, our team cycled 1,560 miles throughout the week. Their determination and effort were key to this achievement. Well done, everyone.

We successfully raised £5,000, which the business matched, reaching our goal of £10,000. The funds will be divided among our selected charities.

Recently, MINI has been forming partnerships with organisations like Dogs Trust, Joe Wicks and parkrun to help uplift the nation with Big Love.

But Big Love starts at home, too. And it’s open to everyone here at Partridge – no driving licence required. From making small changes in our Centre to making bigger changes in our local community, together, we aim to make a real difference.

OUR BIG LOVE PLEDGE.

We pledge to improve the wellbeing of children in Hampshire by fundraising for local charities and working with youth groups.

At Partridge, the local community is so important to us. We want to help create a brighter future for everyone in the area, so we’ve come up with this pledge as a commitment to you. You’ll see us being a more active part of the community, with both small and big acts that will add up to make a difference.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PARTRIDGE.

We are fundraising for The Murray Parish Trust by sponsoring the Hares of Hampshire Art Trail. The Murray Parish Trust raise funds and awareness to support projects, enable pioneering research and provide life-saving equipment at Southampton Children's Hospital.

On Sunday 21st August, teams will be racing the Hares of Hampshire trail (on foot) to raise money for The Murry Parish Trust. The race will start and finish at our showroom and we would love for you to Hop on board and join us.
